Why we built this
Technology-facilitated abuse is increasingly common. Abusers exploit shared accounts, monitoring apps, and account recovery options to maintain control over their victims.
Many people don’t know where to start when trying to secure their accounts. Generic security advice often doesn’t help when you can’t find the right settings or don’t know what to ask for.
We created Reclaim Control to provide practical, step-by-step guidance for specific institutions. Not generic advice, but exactly where to click, who to call, and what to say.
Our approach
- Institution-specific guides: Not “change your password” but exactly how to do it for your bank, email provider, or mobile network
- Plain English: No jargon, no assumptions about technical knowledge
- Practical focus: What to prepare, who to contact, what to say
- Privacy-first: We don’t collect personal data, use cookies, or track you
